The Eating Disorders Self Help Program (EDSHP) provides supports, information and resources to individuals and families impacted by an eating disorder or disordered eating behaviours while working to promote healthy body image, self-esteem, disordered eating prevention and awareness across Manitoba.

Open to all Manitobans, the line offers general information, referrals and support to individuals, families, professionals and the community on disordered eating, body image, self-esteem, treatment and support options. Infomation packages are available upon request.

Wellness & Recovery Support Group
An ongoing guided peer support group designed and developed for women in various stages of recovery from an eating disorder. The group focuses on exploring the inner self through cretaivity, meditation, journaling, mindfulness, movement and shraing while strengthening the connnection to our physical, emotional and spiritual selves.

Family & Friends Support Group
A drop-in support group for friends and family members affected by their loved ones eating disorder. A place for particpants to share, ask questions, gain resources and find hope. Topics explored include self-care, guilt/shame, setting healthy boundaries and communication.
No intake required. Groups take place the last Thursday of every month at 7pm at our CMHA Manitoba Division office, 2633 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg MB.
